An apartment (Die Wohnung) = in a residential building, usually consisting of several rooms, an enclosed area, which serves as a permanent residence for one or more persons.
Die Wohnung is a story about an apartment in a European city. People come, people go. They love, have argues and leave their traces in the apartment which for a brief moment in time is their home. However, the apartment – its walls and stories endures.
Die Wohnung is a complete artwork about space, time and human. It focuses on the small events of everyday life and zooms out until the edge of the galaxy. It opens up its doors to the audience and presents its inhabitants in the perspective of three eras. But what about when the present is gone and it is time for goodbyes? The train leaves for the destination of future.
